Comedian Cizzle C will host the 4th Annual Church Stars Awards, in what will be his second year hosting the two-hour live streamed event.  The ceremony will take place at El Bethel Auditorium in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 6pm/mst.


Cizzle C has been entertaining from coast to coast for more than a decade. His television appearances include TBN, JCTV, BET, and Comedy Central. Cizzle C has been featured at some of the most prestigious Hollywood comedy clubs; The World Famous Laugh Factory, Hollywood Improv, Comedy Union, The Ice House, and the Comedy Store. He's also had the privilege of running his own clean comedy club.

Cizzle C has shared the same stage with such great artist like Kevin Hart, Monique, Kat Williams, Mike Epps, Cedric The Entertainer, DL Hughley, Steve Harvey, Wanda Sykes, Chaka 
Chan, Mary J Blige, Patti LaBelle, J Moss, Deitrick Haddon, Bishop Marvin Sapp, Pastor Shirley Ceasar, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbett, Le'Andria Johnson, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Joel Osteen, and Bishop TD Jakes, just to name a few.

Meanwhile, Cizzle C tells his fans on social media: "I feel so blessed to be hosting one of the biggest events in Christian Entertainment".  It’s official, Comedian Cizzle C will host the 4th Annual Church Stars Awards later this next year. 


The ceremony will celebrate excellence with twenty-five awards given to individuals in faith-based films, gospel stage plays, gospel comedians, television, digital tv, as well as those individuals who work in excellence behind the scenes in makeup, hair, wardrobe, stagehands and production assistants.  


In addition to honoring the best of the best, Church Stars will honor Dr. Mildred Summerville of Wilson, North Carolina.  President of KNTV Networks, Creator of Wilson Idol, Retired Principal & Creator of Alternative Performing Arts Discipline at J&L Summerville Academy, CEO of Summerville Promotion & Production Company and National Award-Winning Stage Play soon to be film

“Spare the Rod Spoil The Child”.  Dr. Summerville will receive the "Distinguished Career Achievement Award",  which is bestowed upon individuals who demonstrate exemplary public service and use their distinct platforms to create agents of change through Christians arts and entertainment.  





Church Stars is the first faith-based platform dedicated to the Christian Arts.  Our online news magazine keeps up with the latest news, events, interviews, behind-the-scenes first looks, and entertainment stories.


We encourage and promote faith-based filmmakers, playwrights, comedians, actors, digital tv, web series, viral video sensations, and production staff.
