Congratulations Gospel Comedian Tresha Rutledge who has been nominated for a Bec Award 2020. Did you all also know she performed during the Essence Festival in New Orleans and was interviewed by Jay Anthony Brown? She sure was, and now a year after celebrating her "Showtime At The Apollo" appearance she's slated to host John P. Kee's "I Made It Out" tour September 27 in Chattanooga, TN.

STRONGER IN BROKEN PLACES
Leaving audiences uplifted and inspired, Renee Strong's production "Stronger in Broken Places" showed at Morehouse College September 14. A story of a family that is broken from within but takes their chances using their musical gifts in hopes to alter their family's lives. Congrats to the cast and crew on an amazing performance!

LOOKING FOR LOVE
Two sold out shows for Deonte' Bolden's "Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places". Showing in Powder Springs, GA September 13 & 14, the stage play centered around a group of successful women who learn how to trust God’s timing when looking for love. We know the cast and crew truly blessed the audiences.

KZ FRAIZER DRAMA
Based on real events taken from excerpts from her book “Restored”, Kerry Ann Frazier stage play "Shattered Pieces" was a huge success in Killeen, Texas September 14. A story of love and secrets, the production was also a domestic violence awareness piece.

JUST MERCY
Michael B. Jordan’s new film 'Just Mercy' highlights the power of grace and redemption. The powerful new trailer shows actor Jordan starring as an attorney fighting for justice for an inmate falsely accused of murder. Shot almost entirely on location in and around Atlanta, The real-life Stevenson is now a professor at New York University Law School. “Just Mercy” is slated for a limited release on Dec. 25 before it’s widely released in January 2020.


SPARE THE ROD SPOIL THE CHILD ADDS TOUR DATE
After another successful run of Dr. Mildred Summerville’s award winning stage play “Spare the Rod, Spoil The Child” directed by gospel comedy legend Trina Jeffrie. Summerville announces the touring play in yet another city, Fayetteville North Carolina October 26th. Also coming September 21st is Summerville’s Wilson Idol. We’re looking forward to honoring Dr. Mildred in a couple of weeks at the Church Stars Awards with the Distinguished Career Achievement Award.


HEALED BROKEN BY NICLOUS HOWARD
Coming off a successful run of his Church Stars Award nominated stage play The Master’s Pieces, Playwright Niclous Howard took another one of his productions “Healed Broken” to Decatur, Georgia over the summer performing to a packed house. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Passageway Productions.
